Dune part 2 episode
Listened to the Dune Part 2 episode and loved every moment of your review. You guys did a great job providing an insightful, humorous and thoughtful take on the epic Dune journey!

adore this pod
knew this was for me as soon as abu said that SRK is our era's potential kwisatz haderach. so true king! as a very casual fan who is just entering the duniverse, this podcast is such a treat and makes a very complicated canon feel fascinating and accessible - thoughtful, thorough, & well researched!

The golden path
Hey dude, did you hear about that super geeky yet infinitely insightful pod about my very own universe? — From “Conversations with Muab’Dib” By the Princess Irulan

I love this podcast
Its like listening to two of my smart and nerdy friends talk about Dune. I love how they research stuff and the book club episodes are my favorite. Those help me under the books so much better!! Absolutely love Leo and Abu!!

Live this podcast
These guys know their stuff. I found the Podcast about two, three months ago, but I have managed to get through maybe half the catalog? All the BookClub episodes and everything related to the 1984 movie and Sci Fi Channel miniseries. I do not know if I have found all the ones related to the 2021 movie. I haven’t done the watch-along but will next time I watch it. I prefer the Dune Encyclopedia expansion of the universe to the Brian Herbert/Kevin Anderson abominations, so this is right up my alley. You guys are killing it. Long live the fighters of Leo and Abu.

Wow just wow
As a casual fan of Dune I have really enjoyed this podcast and learning about the Dune universe through these delightful hosts:) so awesome love it

Best Dune Podcast!
This is a very well researched and well produced show. These guys put in the time to do it right - all while being so much fun to listen to. The book club episodes are the absolute best way to fully enjoy the Dune books. It takes a reading, or re-reading, of the books to a whole new level. I promise you will really enjoy it. It’s just such a great show and I can’t recommend it enough.

Butter
Voices are as buttery as the food the Baron eats. Go dune and go gom jabbar

Curse
What are you . Harkonnen about now.

Good Stuff!
New to the podcast. Have some catching up to do. Great chemistry between the hosts so far. Articulate and thoughtful discussion with a little light hearted humor mixed in. Very happy to have found this. Keep up the great work!

Best Dune Podcast
Best Dune Podcast.

Lighthearted with great insight
I found this podcast after finishing Children of Dune and wish I found it when I began the series. The hosts really care about the material and give thoughtful insight into things I missed or didn’t understand on my first read through. It’s approachable and kind to new fans of the series— there’s no gatekeeping here! The guys can get goofy and lean into little bits throughout the episode but I think it’s endearing and keeps the mood light. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!

Instant fan!
I grew up reading the Dune series in the 1980s. I even had a girl make fun of me at the beach one time when I was about 12 or 13 for reading the Dune Encyclopedia. Anyway, I’ve been revisiting the books recently and stumbled across this wonderful podcast. I’m hooked after just a few episodes! Love the dynamic between the hosts and their knowledge of and passion for the series and the world. Excited to get caught up on the past few years of episodes!

Highly recommend
My favorite Dune podcast is Gom Jabbar. These guys dive deep, and as a longtime fan who has read the series several times, I find them quite insightful and very funny. If you have not read the books and have heard about how daunting the series can be, may I suggest a read-along with this podcast. They typically go through 2 to 3 chapters per episode and break the discussion into super modern terms which are easily relatable, as well as highly amusing, and leads to many ongoing inside jokes. They also do episodes on the whole “Duniverse”, covering movies, video games, comics, card games and more. Enjoy!

Love Gom Jabbar
Joined the Patreon bc I couldn’t wait for the God Emperor of Dune book club pods! I love Leo and Abu they bring so much research and insight to the material but are also hilarious.

Amazing podcast!
This podcast is amazing! If you love Dune you won’t find a better Dune podcast than this. Get some great insight and they are super fun to listen to

Best Podcast!
I am obsessed! This podcast has definitely increased my understanding and appreciation of the novels. I love the book clubs, character deep dives, spice morsels, and everything else. I listen to this podcast when I walk my dog, clean the house, drive to work, cook. Abu and Leo are great and so entertaining to listen to. Great job!!!

Wish my high school English classes were like this
Just a couple buds nerding out and have a good time. Love the Dunebro chemistry and deep insights.

Your guides on the Golden Path
If you are looking for a Dune podcast this is the one! The hosts have a good mix of humor and deep dive knowledge that serve as a perfect companion for your exploration of Frank Herbert’s Dune universe. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Muad’dib’s Blessing
Fantastic show for anyone who enjoys the dune saga. A playful but extremely informative set of recordings. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Awesome
Love these guys. Great chemistry and knowledge

Great job!
My favorite podcast!! I’ve never left a podcast review before but I am just enjoying this one so much. There’s great chemistry between the hosts, the jokes are perfect, it’s equally interesting and entertaining and I’d be lost without it.

Walking into the desert alright like
Great podcast for breaking down things in an amazingly complex universe. If dune seems daunting they make it fun to get through. On a side note their book club intros of spoofin clips of the book is exponentially better than the dune audiobook.

Happy
I have read all the books and some of it is a bit confusing. They break it down and explain it .

Thank Shai-Hulud for this podcast!
Hands down the absolute best voice chemistry between hosts I’ve ever heard. Abu and Leo are just genuinely kind and funny people who are enjoyable to listen to no matter how nerdy you are about Dune. This podcast is definitively the best Dune podcast on the internet. Also they’re 100% totally performing live at Madison Square Garden next weekend and I’m so lucky I got a seat before it sold out all 4 nights. I can’t believe the relentless sex appeal they serve without ceasing. No wonder they’re more famous and rich than Oscar Isaac and Jason Momoa combined.

So much depth
I was one of those Dune fans who was led to believe that only the first book was worth reading. Then I found this podcast and I realized how great the whole Dune history and universe is. Now I have a long reading list ahead of me and the entire run of Gom Jabbar podcasts to listen to. Thanks, y’all.

Immensely fun and helpful
I absolutely love this podcast. As a more recent dune fan, I found their book club episodes both wildly entertaining and extremely helpful in fleshing out this complex universe. The little details they give to you are amazing. I also have loved the spoiler free episodes that have given me so much context going into these books for the first time- for example the episode about the Ixians and the Thleilaxu was immensely helpful to hear before starting Dune Messiah- I didn’t have to get bogged down in trying to wrap my head around a bunch of brand new things thrown at me all at once. They crack me up, and always keep me interested in their episodes. I can’t reccomend this enough if you’re looking for dune content. Here for all the spice daddies and big desert spicy bois.

Incredible
These dudes have great chemistry and you can tell that they are really passionate about Dune. They explore not just the series but the wider Dune universe. 10 out of 5

As addictive as the spice melange!
I just discovered Abu and Leo’s amazing podcast and have been non stop binging it. I’m so grateful for expanding on this universe that has been my favorite book since I was 14 and have reread over and over again for the last 25 years. It’s also amazing for someone just getting into this universe. Six stars!!
